With more than 20 years of strategic economic development and entrepreneurial experience, Michelle Schuler is a core member of community leaders creating innovative solutions that digitally transform Northeast Wisconsin.
As Manager TechSpark Wisconsin with Microsoft, Michelle is focused on building digital inclusion ecosystems that accelerate inclusive economic opportunity in NE Wisconsin. She accelerates digital inclusion across computer science education, adult digital skilling, digital access and equity, and digital transformation of startups and nonprofits. Regional TechSpark investments and programs include TitletownTech, Microsoft TEALS, CESA 7, and gener8tor Skills Accelerators. Driving the mission to empower all individuals and organizations to achieve more.
As Co-Founder and state President of Women in Technology Wisconsin Inc., Michelle has successfully implemented strategies to create the state’s largest member organization of female technology leaders, managers, and specialists focused on attracting women and girls to technology careers. WIT Wisconsin is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with 4 regions (SE, SC, NE, NW). WIT Wisconsin is 100% volunteer board of over 30 female technology professionals leading the way for all females to explore technology and venture into technology careers.
Michelle’s passion to drive social impact across Wisconsin has elected her to these boards: Wisconsin Governor’s Taskforce for Rural Broadband; NEW North: Co-chair; Community Foundation of the Fox Valley: Board; Riverview Gardens: Board; and CESA 7 CSTEY: Advisor. Also, she is involved in the WI Public Service Commission’s Digital Equity Taskforce; NEW Manufacturing Alliance; Hortonville Area School District CS Advisory Board; Howard Suamico Area School District CS Advisory Board; Bay Area Workforce Development Board, and United Way Fox Cities.
