WISPA is hosting a Congressional fly-in, May 16th and 17th, 2023, at the U.S. Capitol, Washington, DC. Fly-ins are a powerful tool to put a “human face” on our industry, featuring you as industry advocate as you meet with legislators and their staff regarding issues of concern to WISPs.

Never done this before?  Well, it’s easier than you think.

WISPA will set up all of your individual/group meetings; provide you with needed instructions, protocol and talking points; and guide you through the halls of Congress so you can tell the WISP story succinctly and confidently to those who are making law and policy affecting your businesses.

All you’ll be responsible for are your flight and hotel accommodations (we can provide you a list of convenient hotel options).  And please bring your years of industry know-how, get ‘er done attitude and your best “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” voice, too.

The tentative agenda:

May 16th
4:30 – 6:30: WISPA member opening reception, Honeywell DC Conference Room, 101 Constitution Ave, NW #500W (Jointly hosted with NATE)

May 17th
7:00 – 8:30: Light breakfast with a morning briefing session to go over important messaging and goals for your Congressional visits, TBD

9:30 – 4:30: Congressional visits, U.S. Capitol, Senate and House Office Buildings

5:00 – 6:30: Closing reception, Mansfield Room, U.S. Capitol, Senate (Jointly hosted with NATE)

Interested in joining the cause, coming to DC to advocate for WISPs, and helping the industry continue to thrive and serve your vibrant communities?

All WISPA members are invited.
